At Doggy Bathroom, making our products in Canada has always been a goal. From the very beginning, we envisioned producing our high-quality items locally. However, when we first launched, manufacturing in Canada wasn’t financially feasible. As a result, our initial production of 2,000 Doggy Bathrooms was made overseas. Those units sold out in less than eight months, which gave us the confidence and opportunity to move production back home to Canada, where we always wanted it to be.

Today, we proudly manufacture our Doggy Bathrooms in Montreal, our hometown. This shift is significant to us, as it allows us to create top-tier products right here in Canada, where we have access to factories with the expertise we need to maintain the quality we're known for. Beyond manufacturing, all of our operations and logistics are also handled from here, ensuring that every step of the process is closely managed.

By producing locally, we’re able to reduce our carbon footprint, something that is becoming increasingly important. The closer proximity of our factories means fewer emissions from shipping and a smaller environmental impact overall. It’s not just about making a product—it’s about doing so in a way that reflects our values. We use only non-toxic, recyclable materials in our products to ensure the safety of both pets and people, while also upholding our commitment to environmental responsibility.

While some of our accessories are still made abroad, we’re comfortable with that because the vast majority of our items are now made here in Canada. We’ve found a balance that allows us to offer top-quality products while supporting local industries and reducing environmental impact. Producing in Canada is about more than just logistics; it’s about pride in craftsmanship and contributing to a more sustainable future.
