At Doggy Bathroom, we’ve always believed that thoughtful design and responsible production should go hand in paw.

From the beginning, we set out to create a premium solution for indoor potty training—one that would look great in your home, work for small dogs and leg lifters, and support better hygiene for everyone involved. We dreamed of having it all Canadian made, and while that wasn’t immediately possible at launch, it never left our sight.

From Prototype to First Production

When we introduced the first Doggy Bathroom in 2019, we faced a major decision: where to manufacture our product. The prototype was proudly developed here in Montreal, but producing it locally at scale wasn’t yet financially viable. As a result, we launched with an initial run of 2,000 units made overseas. To our surprise and gratitude, they sold out in less than eight months.

Bringing Production Home to Montreal

That success gave us more than momentum—it gave us the chance to do what we always wanted: bring our production home. Today, the Doggy Bathroom is manufactured in Montreal, our hometown. This shift wasn’t just about logistics or cost. It was about staying true to our mission, collaborating with local partners, and upholding the level of Canadian design and quality our customers deserve.
