1. Position base in the desired location.

2. Gently place the Doggy Bathroom inside the base.

3. If you are planning on making use of the vertical pee pads, follow these instructions to snap the rails into place. Stand over the Doggy Bathroom.  Position one rail over the edge of Doggy Bathroom.  Place the palm of your hand over the rail.  Press down firmly over the front, followed by the back and then the centre of the rail until you feel and hear a snap.  Repeat on both sides.  To remove the rails, place both hands on rail and firmly peel back.

4. Line bottom with one pee pad. 

5. For leg lifters: clip one pee pad onto each rail.

6. Place the mat in front of the opening.

Unfold the pee pads, lay one on the bottom of the Doggy Bathroom.  For vertical applications, clip them to the rails along each side of the Doggy Bathroom.

Simply wipe it down with a cleaning cloth or damp cloth with a basic cleaning solution. You can even take it outside and spray it down.

Familiarize your dog with their new ensuite by placing them inside the new dog litter box periodically throughout the day.

If your dog is pee pad trained, you can put a used pee pad inside the Doggy Bathroom underneath a new one.  This should attract your dog and get the sniffing started. You can start with a lightly used pee pad, but if it's not enough, use one that's got a lot more pee on it.  If it's still not enough, you can go as far as asking a dog-friend for one of their used pee pads. It may sound strange, but the best way to get a dog to leave their mark is over another dog's.

If your dog is not pee pad trained, it will take longer and there is no guarantee that it will work. Start with new pee pads and see how they react.  Our pee pads have a special scent additive to attract dogs to use them. Some dogs take to it right away, while others take a few visits. But like we mentioned above, there's no better cue than pee; especially another dog's.

A dog who is accustomed to using pee pads will typically successfully make use of the Doggy Bathroom within a few days, however some take up to a month. Patience is key. Adapting a dog who has never used a pee pad can be somewhat challenging. Admittedly, puppies make the best students.

No. Every dog needs exercise and to socialize with other dogs.  Many people use pee pads so their dog won’t get uncomfortable holding it in when they are at work, stuck in traffic, or asleep in the middle of the night. This is especially true for elderly, sick and disabled pets and parents or anyone with mobility limitations or living in a condo where direct outdoor access can be limited.  The Doggy Bathroom is a tool, to serve as a convenient dog litter box, especially for male dogs who lift their legs.

Patience is crucial, and all dogs are different. Some take to it right away, while others can take up to a week, or more. It requires work from both you and your pup. For more information visit our Training Section.

If your dog is unsure about being inside the Doggy Bathroom, you can put their pee pads near it, and move them closer and closer until the pee pads are inside. You can also start by putting your dog periodically in the Doggy Bathroom to get them used to it.  Make sure to give tons of treats whenever your dog goes inside the Doggy Bathroom.  For more information visit our Training Section.

We recommend not letting your dog lay down inside the Doggy Bathroom. Take him out and try again later. Place your dog in the Doggy Bathroom and use your potty command, it is very important for him to associate the Doggy Bathroom with his potty area.

Separate the base from the enclosure and place pee pads in the bottom of the base.  Some dogs needing more time to adjust and using just the base in some cases can help some dogs ease into the idea. Once they have become accustomed to using the base, try introducing the enclosure. Patience is key.

The Doggy Bathroom is 28" deep x 20" wide x 16" high.

It’s recommended that solid waste is picked up and disposed of as soon as your dog eliminates. Most dogs prefer a clean bathroom, so it’s recommended that the pad are replaced as needed to keep it fresh like you normally would.

Yes. Every Doggy Bathroom comes with a set of 6 clips in case you’d like to use your own pee pads to hang them vertically.

The Doggy Bathroom is designed for dogs weighing less than 20 pounds that currently use pee pads and/or for training puppies.  The Doggy Bathroom is not recommended for dogs that exceed the weight limit.

If you accidentally received a defective or a wrong product, please email us within 3 days of receipt at info@doggybathroom.com and we will make it right.

First of all, it looks cool!  Kidding aside, it’s made with a rubberized plastic that stabilizes the Doggy Bathroom and secures in place.  Simply drop the Doggy Bathroom into the base and you're good to go. The base can also be used as a training device to slowly introduce your dog to their new Doggy Bathroom.

If you would like to return your purchase, we’ll happily refund your items within 30 days from the date of delivery. If you need more time to train your pup just email us and ask for an extension. Refunds will be issued to product(s) that have no appearance of having been used, are intact and in their original packaging. Refunds are contingent upon inspection once received at our warehouse. For Instagram and Facebook orders, please initiate the return on the app where you placed the order.

Items purchased on sale or with a discount code as well as gift cards are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange. The cost of the return label will be deducted from the amount of the refund as well as a 15% restocking fee.
